2. What are unfurnished Bernedoodles and what are their benefits?
Unfurnished Bernedoodles are a special variation that doesn't have the typical facial furnishings (beard and mustache) of standard Bernedoodles. Here are the key benefits:
Grooming Benefits:
  • Much easier to maintain with very low grooming requirements
  • Can save $400-600 annually in grooming fees
  • Medium to low shedding compared to heavy-shedding Bernese Mountain Dogs
Health & Longevity:
  • Extended lifespan of 10-12+ years (compared to 6-8 years for pure Bernese)
  • Maintains the gentle, loyal temperament of Bernedoodles
  • Similar appearance to Bernese Mountain Dogs for true Bernese lovers
Perfect for: Families who want the Bernese temperament with easier maintenance and longer lifespan.

3. What sizes of Bernedoodles do you offer and how do I choose the right size?
We offer Bernedoodles in various sizes to match different lifestyles and living situations:
Size Options:
  • Standard F1 Bernedoodles: Our primary offering, combining Bernese Mountain Dog with Standard Poodle (55-75 lbs)
  • Ultra Bernedoodles: A special type bred to have a higher percentage of Bernese Mountain Dog genetics, exhibiting more Bernese physical traits while retaining low-shedding characteristics
  • Miniature Bernedoodles: Smaller versions for apartment living or families with limited space
  • F1B Bernedoodles: Backcrossed puppies for enhanced hypoallergenic qualities
Choosing the Right Size:
  • Consider your living space and activity level
  • Think about your family's lifestyle and energy level
  • Factor in grooming and care requirements
